SLWA Board Seeks to Expand

The South Llano Watershed Alliance Board of Directors is seeking to expand beyond its current membership. Under Alliance bylaws:
Section 6. Vacancies. Any vacancy occurring in the Board of Directors, and any director position to be filled due to an increase in the number of directors, shall be filled by the Board of Directors. A vacancy is filled by the affirmative vote of a majority of the remaining directors…
Membership on the Board is limited to Alliance members who live or own property in the Llano River Watershed. This includes the North and South Llano, as well as the main stem of the Llano.
This is an exciting time for the Alliance as we continue to gain state recognition through partnerships with agencies such as Texas Parks and Wildlife. Anyone interested in becoming a Board member should contact Board Secretary Rick Wilson via southllanoriver@gmail.com
